Transit
Dollard-Des OrmeauxThe Des Sources REM station (Anse-à-l’Orme branch, in service since May 18, 2026) is on boulevard des Sources, just south of Highway 40, in Pointe-Claire. According to the REM, the trip to Gare Centrale takes about 23 minutes; the station has about 500 park-and-ride spaces. To the north, Sunnybrooke station (Deux-Montagnes branch, since November 2025) is another option. STM buses serve the city; the bus network was redesigned when the branch opened, in May 2026.
RepentignyRepentigny station is served by the exo 15 Mascouche line, whose Montréal terminus has been Côte-de-Liesse station since January 2026 (connection to the REM). exo buses connect the city to Montréal and neighbouring cities. Highway 40 crosses the city and reaches the island of Montréal via the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge.

For a house at the median price of $797,000, that comes to about $13,271, or about $3,205 more than with Québec’s base rates. According to the City, a special $200 duty is added to every transfer. The amount is payable in a single instalment, within 30 days of the bill being sent.
RepentignyIn 2026, Repentigny applies 1.5% from $315,000 to $500,000, then 3% above $500,000 (rates as of October 2026, for information only). For a $550,000 house, the City estimates the duties at $7,110.50. It also offers grants to homeowners (home support for people 65 and over, reverse-slope garages, tree planting).
